Arsenal Football Club have completed the signings of:


Per Mertesacker from German side Werder Bremen. The big defender has signed for £10 million, and signed a contract until 2015.


Andre Santos from Turkish side Fenerbache. He has penned a 4 year deal, and the transfer cost £6.2 million. 


Mikel Arteta from Everton, in a deal worth £10 million. He will stay with the Gunners for at least 4 years.


Yossi Benayoun on a season long loan deal from Chelsea. Arsenal also have the option to make the move perminant at the end of the season.


And have announced the departures of:


Nicklas Bendtner in a one year loan deal to Sunderland.


Joel Campbell to Lorient in a one year loan deal, with Giles Sunu also joining the club, but on a perminant basis.


Henri Lansbury to West Ham on a season long loan deal.


Reports suggest Arsenal only moved for Arteta after a £12 million bid for Marvin Martin was rejected.


Likewise, Younn Gourcuff was all set for a loan move to the Gunners, but Maralem Pjanic was sold to Roma, and Arsenal had to settle for Yossi Benayoun, says Infosport+.
