Useful Transfers Part 1

As Arsenal become evidently more in turmoil, with the fans about the severe lack of signings, Arsene Wenger has also lost a majority of the class from the team including Cesc Fabregas, Emmanuel Eboue and possibly Samir Nasri. I believe that there are many players which Wenger needs to invest in an before the transfer window opened, he had a transferkitty of around £25 million, but after signing Gervinho and others. Yet this is even without the transfers of Fabregas.

So here is my article on players in which Arsene Wenger should buy:

Juan Mata:

Former Real Madrid trainee Juan
Mata
His overall statistics in his days in Real Madrid Castilla and Valencia, he has played 168 league games and he has scored 43 times. As a winger or centre midfield goal to game ratio is very good. Juan Mata’s techniques with the ball show he has close control whith the ball like its a second limb. There so many things he can do with the ball that would make you admire the beautiful game even more. Versatility in a player in a player can change a season for a club as if any injurys occur the player can be deployed in any of the available positions he’s adept in to cover up for the space that has been made by the injured player. Juan Mata is a striker that can play on the left wing. Valencia has benefitted greatly from his versatility. But my favourite part of Mata is the fact he has a key perk which not many midfielders has as there are many strikers on the pitch don’t make the most of there opportunities, Mata is a player that picks his spot even before he has the ball. Only a small amount of strikers actually have this ability Ruud van Nistelrooy, Hernan Crespo and Robin van Persie. It’s pleasing to know that Mata is somewhere up in the mix.

Per Mertesacker:

What Arsenal have needed since Sol Campbell, is a big man in Centre Back and who else is as dominant in the air as Per Mertesacker  he stands at 6 ft 6 inches in the air and at the age of 26 he still has a good 7-10 years left in his Career and as a German International he iss no were near as inexperienced at the top level as Thomas Vermaelan and I believe that him and Thomas Vermaelan or  Laurent Koscielny.  He could add the Premier League, FA Cup, Carling Cup and Premier league to his cabinet full of Runners Up Medals and also with a cut price of under £10 million. Arsene Wenger would be a idiot not to swoop for him.
The dominating German, Per Mertesacker
